Manners and community
The fact that we are humans making one united community is complicated in a certain way, different people with different religions, principals, personalities and perspectives all trying to cope together in one big world .If you take one person you’ll see that he communicates and deals with others every day in all the aspects of life starting from his family to the outside world. Moreover, the ability to interact in a healthy manner on the right time, in the correct way is extremely hard and sometimes impossible. But this doesn’t mean that we surrender the circumstances and stop being the best version of ourselves, It’s a huge challenge but it’s worth to try.If we take an example of family in Muslim communities , you’ll see that the relationship between family members is not just a parents who provide food for their kids ,living under one roof and eating together around one big table, its much deeper than that, it’s communication , taking care of each other dealing with life challenges and the most important thing is giving each member a sense of belonging and growing faith inside him .We say Islam when we talk about faith, we believe in God and his prophet peace be upon him, a man who taught us manners and how to have high standers in conduct with others, he also made clear how family is important for each one of us. Let’s not forget our holly book the Quran which contains everything we need to know to have a normal healthy life and to win Jannah, and one of the Quran’s high focus is the human behaviour. If you dig deep, you’ll see that all the verses forbid Muslims to insult others neither physically nor verbally regardless of who that person is, where he comes from or even what he believes in. Our religion has strict restrictions about the interactions between people and that’s because Islam knows that they are the secret to the personal career success and success itself doesn’t come from nothing, it’s the birth of self-control, self-appreciation, respect and the power of will to reach aims. A person learns self-appreciation and respect inside his family, they are manners he carries on with him till death, and these good manners makes a sane person who will grow up to make healthy relationships, it’s a circle. As a teacher, dealing with young kids is an everyday routine and it’s an amazing job because it gives me the chance to make interactions with pupils with different ages , mentalities and by time I learnt to be more comprehensive, to go easy and have mercy on them because the more they feel comfortable the more you discover what’s behind those masks and if you see who they really are you’ll have the golden opportunity to help them walk the right path and when you reach this point ,I’ll say you did a miraculous job because you made a clear view to yourself that you affect their personalities and choices one way or another. A great job comes with great responsibilities and responsibilities become a pleasure only if you love what you are doing. It’s our Muslim community, we worship God and we follow our religion , it guides us through life struggles and it teaches us not to only think about ourselves but to look for others and take care of them. The prophet Mohamed peace be upon him in an exceptional example of how kindness and mercy can change the world to the better, he is recognized even by non-Muslims as the most influential person throughout history. He was born in a community of sins and the worship of several idols, but he never followed their footsteps, he took the hardest way and made the toughest decisions that a person can make. He chose to fight for Islam and if you ask yourself ‘’ Was it worthy to fight for?’’, I say God gave the prophet Mohamed a holly responsibility and chose him to make people understand that it’s possible to live united in peace and have strong bonds with others if they have good manners and a strong faith in him. Having good manners and teaching them starts from a young age, it’s our duty to ourselves and community, our children are diamonds and we can shape them however we want.
Appreciation, respect and strong family relationships makes the child grow into a confident sain person who is an essencial part of building the human community.
